It opens with vibrant top notes of bergamot, grapefruit, petitgrain, lavender, green notes, and spice. Following this, middle notes of sage, gardenia, violet, and ginger ease in, and finally, base notes conclude with labdanum, Guaiac wood, vetiver, sandalwood, musk, and incense. 212 was launched in 1997 and is a collaboration between perfumers Rosendo Mateu, Alberto Morillas and Ann Gottlieb.
