Oud by John Varvatos

John Varvatos Oud is a bold and charismatic men’s fragrance that captures the sensual exoticness of oud wood. A collaboration between perfumers Rodrigo Flores-Roux and John Varvatos himself, Oud was launched in 2014. Oud opens with a rich and distinctive blend of juniper berries, nutmeg and tobacco creating woody and leathery top notes. The mid-notes of saffron, cinnamon and agarwood (oud) create an exotic, spicy sophistication. The fragrance finally settles into a lingering, warm base where the rich and smoky tones of oud wood are further augmented by the sensuality of amber, patchouli and leather.
